alone..
sitting in front of my computer desk..
hearing the sound of the rain
heavily falling on the rooftop..
then suddenly sweet words were typed in..
: ganda ng panahon..umuulan..XD
: mahirap maligo..malamig..
: bakit? ayaw mo? :(
: ok lang..basta kasama kita
..how i wish it rained more often
..i don't care if it rains too hard
..i don't even need my umbrella
..blithely walking, dancing, even singing perhaps in the rain
..still dumb-founded
..coz you're with me
..surely laughing at my eccentricities, deciphering my quirks
..yet you stay and watch the rain with me
so rain, don't ever dare to stop..NEVER!

surprisingly, i have started to love the rain again.. most of the songs i listen to lately are even about the rain..
ReplyDeletei used to dislike the rain because it makes me all gloomy.. but once, a good soul recommended that i listen to a certain song.. it took me awhile to fathom the meaning of the song.. later, i understood and tried to be more welcoming of the rain..
its good to note that you dont want the rain to stop because you have someone on your side.. and yes, who would need an umbrella in that case..

rain has always been misinterpreted.only a few get to see its beauty.
it may rain so hard, but it only shows how persistent the ran has been.perhaps, to let us know there's joy in every raindrop.
NO, rain isn't stealing the roles that sun, star, and moon are playing and portraying.they're just too kind and generous to finally let the rain take the center stage.
they're are just behind the curtains, watching as the rain delivers and plays its role.even letting the rain know they're just at the backstage ready to back up when tiredness and pain start to fill the atmosphere.
thanks to the sun, to the star, and to the moon for sharing the spotlight with the rain.

i believe youre right with everything that you said.. i noticed that more often than not, its only the kids who enjoy the rain.. adults oftentimes find the rain as something that gets in the way of something lined up for the day..
ReplyDeletesince hindi ko na kasi nakikita madalas ang stars, sun, at pati moon dito, kaya siguro mas nararamdaman ko ang ulan.. it rains every afternoon dito.. kahit hassle sa pag uwi ko, i feel a certain joy being under my umbrella, or kahit sa jacket ko lang..
ganun din talaga siguro, as some people come and go, so as the seasons.. and for that matter, it is best to make the most out of it while they are around..
once i talked about my blog persistentRAIN with BERDENG IBON, we were debating kung sino yung persistent talaga sa kwnto. di kami magkasundo..
today, i realized that it doesnt matter.. kagaya ng sinabi mo, they have roles to play..
maybe that night, the star, the moon, the sky, and the rain all came out to tell me somthing..
i just have to go back to the experience again, and find out what that something is..
